The Sannam Standard
Guntur Sannam — also known as the S4 variety — is one of India's most traded dry red chilli varieties. Grown extensively across the Guntur belt in Andhra Pradesh, it is prized for its balanced heat, bright red colour, and medium-thick walls that hold aroma through cooking.
WGAN Farms sources directly from communities that have been growing Sannam for generations. The pods are sun-dried on open yards using traditional methods — no artificial drying, no sulphur treatment — preserving the natural capsaicin content and genuine South Indian character.
